A Decade in Development
Tech visionary Steve Schulz wanted a cool home media system for his family — so he built it. Because it was personal, he loaded it with every feature imaginable, sparing no expense to get the best possible solution to the needs of each family member. Pretty soon, all his Austin neighbors wanted one. Because it brings “absolute value” to a complex mix of technology, he named the machine Modulus, and in early 219 the first machines rolled off the production line in Austin, Texas. Only 1.6" thick, the Mx1 fits easily behind a wall-mounted TV, on a countertop or mantle, or even a bookshelf. Supporting both ethernet and fast 802.11ac WiFi, the Mx1 works in connection to the M1, giving you access to your entire recorded library of movies and TV, streaming programs and more. The Mx1 delivers the identical user experience of the M1, complete with all menus, appearance, and functions, including the same amazing “Ultimate Remote” as the M1.

Have you ever been watching sports in one room, then move to another, only to find the second room has an annoying delay? The M1 synchronizes all viewing activity and bookmarks with all other Mx1 units, so that you can watch any of your your movies, TV shows, music, or streaming programs in one room, then automatically pick it up exactly where you left off in another room. The Mx1 is powerful, capable of playing Blu-Ray movies with lossless audio/video quality over its fast WiFi or wired ethernet connection, with video decoding and rendering fully hardware-accelerated for a smooth, rich experience.

Search is a breeze with this remote. We give you three different options to find the program you want; first up, use your words! Let our Voice Control feature find your favorite movie, searching across ALL platforms to find the show you want. Second, use the Air Mouse. Just point at the screen and click on the Program Guide to take you immediately to that channel or streaming option. Finally, if you have to type something out, use our built-in QWERTY keyboard! That’s right, no more of the maddening letter-by-letter log in hassles. Plus, our remote is backlit so it’s easy to use even in a dark room.
More Features
How’s your aim? With Modulus it doesn’t matter. Our remote uses RF signals so it doesn’t need line of sight to be effective. And, our remote is “smart;” it learns what devices you have so it can control your receiver and tuner. What’s more, if you misplace your remote, simply download the Modulus app and control Modulus from your smart phone or tablet.
